We are currently looking for a Junior ML Scientist who will be integral to driving high-level performance across Lovehoney Group. Partnering directly with the Head of AI, your focus will be on developing AI Applications. In this role, you will combine your appreciation for Technology with your capacity for creative AI Solutions. You will develop skills crucial to advancing in a competitive, fast-paced retail sector, all within a company that prizes dedication and results.

What you will do

• Craft Next-Level AI Solutions
  
  

Design, build, and optimise advanced LLM pipelines, emphasizing prompt engineering and chain-of-thought methodologies.

Actively research, prototype, and integrate new techniques to enhance LLM performance across real-world use cases.

• Automate Business Processes
  
  

Develop automated workflows and AI agents using n8n.io (or similar platforms like Make), streamlining and optimizing key business processes.

Efficiently automate routine tasks, creating practical and reliable solutions that save time and resources.

• AI Applications
  
  

Move swiftly from prototypes to tangible AI products, ensuring your work has immediate, measurable impact on business operations and customer experiences.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage AI project lifecycles from concept to deployment, demonstrating strong project management skills.

What you should bring

• Python & ML Framework Proficiency
  
  

Excellent programming skills in Python.

Hands-on experience with popular machine learning frameworks, especially LangChain or LlamaIndex.

• AI-Assisted Coding
  
  

Practical experience with AI-enhanced IDEs—particularly Cursor.

A commitment to innovative coding practices (“vibe coding”) and continuous improvement of your development workflow.

• Automation & Workflow Expertise (n8n.io)
  
  

Hands-on experience building automation workflows using n8n.io (or Make/Copilot Studio).

Ability to enhance productivity and drive process improvements through well-designed automation solutions.

• Database & API Skills
  
  

Solid experience working with standard databases (Redis, SQL/NoSQL).

Proficiency in retrieving, cleaning, transforming, and managing data via APIs for analytics and AI-driven applications.

• Continuous Learner & Active Consumer of AI Content
  
  

You stay on top of the rapidly evolving AI landscape by actively consuming and engaging with content on platforms like X (Twitter), YouTube, and industry blogs.
