Use your expertise and know-how to tackle innovative challenges in autonomous driving and driver assistance systems within a highly motivated team of experts. Support the development of real-time analysis and perception systems for 3D in-cabin environments in vehicles. To strengthen the R&D team in Vienna our client is seeking a:
- Support the entire development cycle from initial analysis through architecture, design, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of your solutions.
- Design and implement 2D/3D vision algorithms to address complex perception challenges in the automotive industry, such as detecting driver drowsiness, identifying distractions, and recognizing gestures.
- Adapt and optimize your solutions for execution on embedded platforms and prepare them for series production.
- Conduct systematic tests to evaluate the performance of your algorithms and optimize their robustness and accuracy under real-world conditions.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in software development.
- Very good knowledge of C++.
- Solid knowledge in computer vision and practical experience in developing and benchmarking 3D environment analysis algorithms.
- Familiarity with common computer vision and machine learning frameworks (OpenCV, TensorFlow, etc.) as well as GIT, Jira, and Confluence.
- Ideally, experience in porting and optimizing software for embedded platforms (e.g., Ambarella, TI).
- Experience in writing testable code, automated unit tests, and setting up build and test environments.
- Additional experience with ASPICE, functional safety, deep learning, and Python is a plus.
- Goal-oriented, analytical, structured, and independent working style.
- Technical degree in computer science or a related field.
- EU citizenship or work permit for Austria.

For the position of Computer Vision & Machine Learning Engineer (m/f/d) in Vienna, our client offers an attractive salary starting at EUR 60,000 (full-time basis), with a willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and experience.
