Mandatory to have:-
- French Proficiency.
- Data Center experience with networking experience.
Technical Requirements:-
• Basic Knowledge of Network Devices such as Switches, Routers, Wireless Access Points preferably CISCO, Riverbed
• Basics knowledge/understanding of assigning switch ports to specific VLANs
• Patch phone ports to switch as needed.
• Basic troubleshooting of VOIP phones (knowledge of basic configuration)
• Troubleshoot issues with fiber links between switches – Able to visualize errors and communicate to remote technical teams
• Troubleshoot and replace network switch chassis blades when required.
• Adding memory/flash to existing Non-End User Devices or Devices;
• Patching, moving an existing switch or router;
• Racking and patching any new Non-End User Devices or Device(s);
• Installing, decommissioning, or moving WAP, WLC; Smart Edge, Firewall devices
• Installing new, or moving existing, access points for coverage expansion – No higher than usage of a 6-foot ladder; however for a higher ladder parties shall mutually discuss and agree.
• Decommissioning a single Non-End User Device, including verifying the impact of such decommissioning and/or shutting the Device down;
• Hands on experience on Structured cabling in the site
• Support end devices such as AR Headsets, Clocks, WiFi heart monitors, Puppy Cube Projectors, etc.
• Wireless access point Audit to update new WAP diagram.
• Conducting Site surveys, including asset inventory validation;
• Conduct WLAN surveys; installing, decommissioning or moving WAP;
• Granting Site access for the Customer’s third parties.
• The onsite Technician may also be required to conduct conference room equipment upgrades where they are swapping devices and following the provided step-by-step processes. Detailed instructions and support will be provided prior to the technician conducting this work.
• Good to understand on any Data Center Infrastructure Management Application
• Assist network and data center admins (Internal, Customer, and Vendor) as required during the course of technical troubleshooting
• Basic knowledge about Hardware like Servers and storage devices
• Should be able to perform IMACD Installation, Move, Add, Change, and Disposal Services of the Data Center, network equipment
• Engineers should have hands-on experience in large/medium enterprise Data Centers or hosting sites consisting of Servers, Storage, and Network devices
• Engineers should have all local language proficiency and communication ability in English is mandatory
• Provide on call after hours support for any P2 issue.
Non-Technical Skills:-
• Able to demonstrate & experience in solving complex business or technical issues.
• Should have exposure to ITIL framework, preferable ITSM tool is Remedy (Incident, Problem and Change Management)
• Demonstrable results in a business customer facing role, with a track record of delivering services to defined service levels.
• L2 resource will be required to support operation work for a small/medium based clients with minimum 3 to 6 years of experience.
• L3 resource will be required to support operation work for a large/Enterprise based clients with minimum 7+ years of experience.
