Position: Graduate Planning and Business Analyst

Department: Operations Planning Analysis and Support (OPAS)

Location: Dublin Airport

Sky Handling Partner is excited to invite recent graduates to apply for the position of Graduate Planning and Business Analyst within our OPAS department.

Reporting to: OPAS Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Support the issuance of Monthly Flight Integration based on customer airline schedules
  • Assist in importing airline schedule data into rostering software in the required format
  • Aid in the preparation of monthly rosters for staff across assigned operational departments, ensuring compliance with operational requirements and Working Time Regulations
  • Ensure adherence to approved budgeted staff headcount and FTE, assisting with documentation and analysis of any variations
  • Assist with the analysis and creation of capacity planning for different departments and structures
  • Contribute to the development and presentation of plans to improve staff utilization
  • Work with the Training Department to assist with training planning for operational departments
  • Assist in the monitoring and approval of annual leave requests for operational staff
  • Help ensure optimum skill levels within departments, identifying any skill gaps and supporting training initiatives
  • Produce seasonal staff forecasts and planning in line with airline schedules
  • Assist with the issuance of monthly forecasts for flight volume, staffing, and training requirements
  • Help maintain and update software systems for scheduling, rostering, and time management
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information
  • Work closely with the Finance department to support the recording and invoicing of operational services
  • Assist with the ongoing development of operational and IT systems to ensure their effectiveness
  • Support the development and reporting of financial operational analysis
  • Undertake additional tasks as required by the OPAS team


Skills & Experience:

  • Recent graduate or equivalent with an interest in operations planning and analysis
  • Any background or experience related to staff allocation or operations management is an advantage
  • Strong interest in planning, analysis, and problem-solving
  • Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office required, with intermediate Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Project management skills are a plus, but not required

Requirements

  • No prior work experience required; recent graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred, especially Excel
