Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job Description

We are excited to welcome a skilled Junior Software Developer to join our team in Luxembourg. This full-time role offers an Undetermined Duration Contract or VIE Programme and is perfect for someone with a passion for software development and a strong foundation in JavaScript and React.js.

🔥 Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions that meet both functional and technical requirements.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using JavaScript and React.js.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Conduct test automation to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
• Assist in troubleshooting and debugging applications to enhance performance and user experience.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and contribute to team knowledge.
  
  
  

🎯 Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• In the absence of a Bachelor’s degree, demonstrated equivalent professional experience of at least 3 years will be accepted.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Typescript and React.js programming.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working closely with business stakeholders to co-implement software solutions.
• Preferably 1 year of experience in the finance sector.
• Proficiency in English and French, both verbal and written communication.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
