Test Engineer

Role: Testing Specialist

Location: Luxembourg (must reside in Luxembourg)

Contract Type: 1 year + extension

Daily Rate: 250 euros

We are looking for a Testing Specialist for our client that is in the public sector in Luxembourg.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use project management tools.
• Advise responsible statutory staff and/or the Project Manager/Project Owner about test results via standard reporting.
• Set up and develop test techniques.
• Create automated test suites.
• Assess and propose improvements to testing processes, methodologies, and tools.

Requirements:

• Strong technical knowledge in software testing.
• Skilled in test design techniques and testing tools.
• Familiar with at least one testing methodology.
• ISTQB certification (or equivalent certification or experience) is mandatory.
• Knowledge of IT/service management and project management best practices (e.g. Agile, DevSecOps, PRINCE2, PMI, PM², RUP, PMM4EP, ENGAGE, ITIL, or equivalents).
• Optional: experience with mobile devices and OS compatibility testing.
• Familiarity with change control procedures for tests, including test case revision.
