Job Description

• Lead end-to-end project delivery while enforcing project governance frameworks and standards.
• Set up and manage project governance structures: steering committees, reporting cadences, decision logs, and escalation paths.
• Develop project documentation including charters, schedules, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and status reports.
• Ensure adherence to internal compliance requirements, financial controls, and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO, SOX, etc.).
• Drive stakeholder alignment by preparing governance packs and leading governance forums.
• Collaborate closely with PMO, finance, legal, and compliance teams to ensure accurate reporting and controls.
• Track KPIs, budget adherence, and milestones; flag deviations and drive corrective actions.
• Support audits and post-implementation reviews by maintaining clear and up-to-date documentation.
• Promote best practices in project governance across the organization.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience (5+ years) in project management, with a strong track record of managing project governance.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI/PMP, Agile with governance overlays).
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills at all levels, including executive leadership.
• Familiarity with governance frameworks, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow PPM, or similar).
• Strong analytical, risk management, and documentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field. Project Management certification is a plus (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.).

• Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, public sector).
• Knowledge of change management practices.
