Salary: €90,000 – €120,000

Anson McCade is a leading recruitment and transformation consultancy, currently partnering with a renowned European client delivering complex technology solutions and modernisation projects across cloud, infrastructure, and DevOps. With a strong presence in the Netherlands and an ambitious digital roadmap, they are looking to grow their platform engineering capability by hiring an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing team in a hybrid working environment, delivering enterprise-scale CI/CD solutions and shaping DevOps maturity for clients across sectors.

As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab CI/CD.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate infrastructure and configuration management via Terraform, Ansible, and related tools.
• Drive containerisation strategies using Docker and Kubernetes, supporting modern application deployment.
• Monitor and maintain system health using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, and the ELK Stack.
• Play a key role in cloud migration and optimisation projects using Azure, with exposure to AWS and Google Cloud.
• Lead by example in scripting best practices (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and cloud-native automation.
• Support agile delivery teams with scalable, secure, and reliable DevOps solutions.

A successful Azure DevOps Engineer will have:

• 3–7+ years’ experience in a DevOps or platform engineering role.
• Strong command of Azure DevOps tooling and pipelines (YAML, ARM/Bicep, Git Repos, Boards).
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and automated deployments.
• Solid background in systems administration (Linux/Windows), networking, and server security.
• Deep knowledge of version control (Git, GitHub, GitLab) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset.
• Previous consulting or client-facing experience is a bonus.
