GOLANG DEVELOPER (REMOTE)

Portuguese company hires for remote work

Location: any EU country

Important: This is a 100% remote role, but the candidate must be based in the EU and available to travel to Lisbon once a month, if needed.

Language Requirements: Fluent English and Portuguese

Seniority: 5+ years

Contract: 6-12 months, with potential extension

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using GoLang
  • Implement and manage observability tools like Otel, Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Tempo
  • Automate infrastructure using Ansible
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features
  • Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs
  • Maintain code quality, structure, and automation

🛠 Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development, with strong focus on GoLang
  • Hands-on experience with observability tools (Otel, Grafana, Loki, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Ansible for infrastructure automation
  • Solid grasp of software development principles and design patterns
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Team player with excellent communication skills

⭐ Nice To Have

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines
