We are working with an established and well renowned commodities trading client who are looking for a Senior Quant Analyst to join their Geneva team.
You'll be joining a desk that specialises in European Power and Gas Trading and work in a company that has a collaborative structure and give people the autonomy to impact company and personal performance.
This role is based in central Geneva and full relocation can be provided for the successful candidate.
Key responsibilities
- Developing visualisation tools and reports
- Developing the valuation models for complex trades
- familiarity with model risk and limitations
Key Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years experience working as a Quant Analyst in a commercial setting
- Strong foundation in probability, option pricing theory, statistics and numerical analysis
- Proficient programming skills, preferably in Python
- Familiarity with European Energy Markets
- Skilled at conveying complex mathematical concepts in a clear and understandable manner
