Java Full Stack Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Full Stack Java Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications using modern technologies. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust backend services and engaging frontend experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java.
• Implement features using React and TypeScript for responsive and dynamic user interfaces.
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices to ensure high-quality, reliable code.
• Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes (or similar container orchestration tools).
• Integrate observability tools (such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar) for monitoring and performance analysis.
• Write efficient queries and work with SQL databases to manage and retrieve data.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and product teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural decisions, and continuously improve development processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
• Proficient in React and TypeScript for frontend development.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with TDD methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or similar container and orchestration tools.
• Familiarity with observability tools for application monitoring and diagnostics.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of GraphQL, NoSQL, or additional frontend/backend frameworks is a plus.
