At eXpace, we're reimagining the future of urban mobility—starting with one of the biggest pain points: parking. Our mobile-first platform helps drivers find, book, pay for, and access parking in seconds, taking the stress out of city driving.

We’ve launched our MVP and activated our first parking locations in Dubai. Backed by a growing team of 15 and a bold vision for 2025, we’re now looking for ambitious, Android-savvy developers who want to dive into the future of Kotlin Multiplatform and help us scale.

As an Android/KMP Intern, you’ll work directly with our CTO and growing engineering team to help evolve our cross-platform app experiences. This is a hands-on role where you’ll ship features, fix bugs, and contribute to a shared codebase used across multiple platforms.

You’ll:

• Build UI screens and flows using Jetpack Compose Multiplatform
• Extend and improve Google Maps and location-based features
• Craft smooth animations and transitions for polished experiences
• Implement offline-first data storage patterns
• Write unit and UI tests to support a scalable, testable app
• Learn and use CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and code review workflows
• Participate in product discussions, design reviews, and roadmap planning

Our product is built entirely with Kotlin Multiplatform, allowing us to share code across Android, iOS, Web, and Backend services.

As part of the engineering team, you’ll contribute to a shared codebase that powers:

• Native mobile apps using Jetpack Compose and Compose for iOS
• A web application built with Compose for Web
• Serverless backend components in AWS using Kotlin (Lambdas, DynamoDB, S3, etc.)

This internship gives you hands-on experience in a real-world, production-grade KMP environment, with opportunities to work across platforms and gain a deep understanding of modern cross-platform development.

• Know your way around Kotlin and Android Studio
• Have used Jetpack Compose or want to learn Compose Multiplatform
• Care about beautiful UI and delightful UX
• Are comfortable debugging, testing, and learning as you go
• Want to understand how real products scale
• Are curious, coachable, and excited to work in a startup environment

This isn’t a side-project internship. Your code will ship to real users—and help shape a live product in a real-world mobility environment.
