DevOps Engineer

We are sourcing on behalf of a technology-driven organization based in Abu Dhabi that supports mission-critical applications and infrastructure across cloud and hybrid environments. The company is scaling rapidly and is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support CI/CD workflows, improve infrastructure reliability, and ensure smooth collaboration between development and operations.

On-site – Abu Dhabi

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for managing infrastructure as code, streamlining deployment pipelines, and automating operational workflows across development, staging, and production environments. You’ll play a central role in optimizing system performance, enhancing monitoring and logging, and driving DevSecOps practices in collaboration with backend and infrastructure teams.

• Develop, manage, and scale cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with an Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) approach.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar.
• Manage containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS).
• Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK stack.
• Collaborate with software developers to support deployment and release processes.
• Ensure infrastructure reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency across services.
• Implement and enforce security best practices across DevOps processes (secrets management, role-based access, etc.).
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in incident response and root cause analysis.

• 3–5 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering role.
• Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC tools.
• Solid knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation and Git-based workflows.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Go.
• Working knowledge of networking, security, and system performance tuning.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert).
• Experience in highly regulated or secure environments.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud/on-prem environments.
• Exposure to infrastructure for big data or AI/ML systems.
