Senior ML Engineer - Banking

A leading bank is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to join its growing data and technology team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and deploying machine learning solutions that enhance customer experience, streamline operations, and strengthen risk management.

About the role:

• Develop, deploy, and maintain machine learning models across various banking use cases, including fraud detection, credit scoring, and customer insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and translate them into scalable ML solutions.
• Implement data pipelines and model monitoring systems to ensure performance and compliance.
• Work with large, complex datasets and apply best practices in data governance and security.
• Stay current with developments in AI/ML and proactively suggest new approaches and technologies.

About you:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in a machine learning or applied data science role.
• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience using ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies.
• Strong grasp of software engineering principles and version control.
• Previous experience in financial services or regulated industries is highly advantageous.
