Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cisco Network Administrator to manage, configure, and monitor our enterprise network infrastructure. This role focuses on Cisco switching and routing platforms, particularly the Catalyst 9300/9400/9500/9600 series and ASR 8200/8300 routers. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), supporting automation, access control, and network assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Cisco Catalyst switches and ASR routers in an enterprise environment.
- Monitor network performance, uptime, and security using industry-standard tools.
- Utilize Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) for network automation, assurance, and policy enforcement.
- Manage Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for access control, including 802.1X, profiling, and posture assessment.
- Design and enforce network segmentation and security policies.
- Perform scheduled firmware upgrades, patch management, and hardware health audits.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Layer 2 and Layer 3 network issues.
- Collaborate with project and implementation teams during change windows and post-deployment activities.
- Proven experience with Cisco Catalyst (9300/9400/9500/9600) and ASR 8200/8300 platforms.
- Deep knowledge of Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) and Cisco ISE—including policy design, troubleshooting, and operational support.
- Familiarity with Software-Defined Access (SD-Access) and network segmentation strategies.
- Hands-on expertise in redundancy protocols (HSRP, VRRP), high-availability architectures, and QoS.
- Strong foundation in routing and switching protocols: VLANs, STP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP.
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools and syslog analysis.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- Cisco Certified Specialist – Enterprise Core or Security
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
