Application Security Analyst (OIL AND GAS IS COMPULSORY )

Objective

Drive application security across the software development lifecycle by establishing secure coding standards, integrating security tools into DevOps, and minimizing risk through continuous assessment, automation, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage secure SDLC practices, from design to deployment.
  • Conduct and oversee security assessments, code reviews, and penetration testing.
  • Automate security testing and threat modeling within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Guide secure architecture decisions and enhance cloud application security.
  • Align applications with data privacy laws and regulatory standards.
  • Deliver security awareness and training for development teams.
  • Track, report, and remediate vulnerabilities using defined KPIs.
  • Coordinate third-party security evaluations and ensure closure of audit findings.
  • Conduct risk assessments and advise on mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years in IT, with 7+ in enterprise security and 3+ in AppSec.
  • Certifications: CSSLP, OSCP, GWAPT (preferred).
  • Hands-on with SAST, DAST, DevSecOps tools, secure coding, SAP security.
  • Strong grasp of cloud security, cryptography, and regulatory compliance.
