Lead React Native Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead React Native Developer to guide the development team in creating a cutting-edge mobile product for the First Service Residential client.

Responsibilities


  • Play the role of Development Lead for the Mobile team and maintain high standards of code quality
  • Set code quality benchmarks and ensure adherence across the team
  • Coordinate development efforts and collaborate effectively with team members
  • Participate in planning activities with Product Owners and Business Analysts
  • Evaluate team capacity and delegate tasks strategically for optimal results
  • Work closely with the Mobile Architect to determine architecture and standards within the React Native ecosystem
  • Assist in staffing activities, including pre-screening and interviewing candidates
  • Analyze API specifications and create corresponding UI components
  • Perform peer code reviews and implement unit tests for robust software quality
  • Focus on the design, development, and testing of scalable mobile applications using React Native as the primary cross-platform framework


Requirements


  • Strong leadership skills and prior experience leading cross-functional or Front-End teams
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with React Native
  • 3+ years of iOS and Android mobile application development experience
  • Background in design patterns and concepts applicable to mobile solutions
  • Knowledge of Agile frameworks such as SCRUM
  • Skills in Code Review processes and Release Strategy development
  • Strong knowledge of React Native ecosystem technologies and mobile testing frameworks
  • Expertise in profiling, debugging, unit testing, and end-to-end testing
  • Understanding of React Native quality tools and processes
  • Demonstrated capability to solve complex technical problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with B2 level proficiency in English
  • Proactive mindset focused on delivering value and driving innovation
  • Skills in presenting and explaining technical concepts clearly and effectively
  • Ability to understand team dynamics and prioritize delivery goals appropriately


Nice to have


  • Familiarity with Carbon Design System
  • Background in .NET Core and database technologies
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and technologies such as Azure
