Job Description

• Monitor and analyze IT systems and networks for potential threats and incidents (e.g. using SIEM tools)
• Triage, investigate, and escalate security alerts in line with incident response procedures
• Perform vulnerability assessments and basic risk evaluations
• Support the development and optimization of detection and response capabilities
• Document incidents, actions taken, and provide regular security reporting
• Collaborate closely with Security Engineers, IT staff, and external partners
• Contribute to awareness campaigns and internal security training initiatives
  
  

Qualifications

• Degree or vocational training in IT, cybersecurity, or a related field
• Initial experience in IT security, IT support, or network/system administration
• Familiarity with log analysis, basic threat detection, and vulnerability scanning
• Experience with tools such as SIEM (e.g. Splunk, QRadar), IDS/IPS, antivirus or EDR solutions
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills in English AND French OR Dutch
