About This Opportunity

Our final assembly manufacturing department is looking for Producibility Engineer who can review mechanical design solutions from a production point of view and give feedback and improvement suggestions to design departments based in Sweden, so we get producible products at a reasonable cost, with high yield in a short time to the market.

This is a full-time site based role at our Ericsson Estonia Factory on Peterburi tee in Tallinn, Estonia.

What You Will Do

  • Evaluate mechanical designs of Ericsson products to ensure producibility and cost-effectiveness
  • Provide feedback and improvement suggestions to design units globally through the DFM (Design for Manufacturability) process
  • Facilitate high yield and timely market delivery of products by enabling assembly processes
  • Procure and validate production-specific assembly tools

The Skills You Bring

  • Experience in mechanical design
  • Knowledge of production development processes
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Strong cooperation and communication skills
  • Bachelor or master's degree in production engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or related field
  • Proactive approach to new challenges
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Estonian and/or Russian language skills are a bonus
