Front end Developer

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We’re looking for a skilled JavaScript developer with at least 2 years of experience. You’ll help ensure that our components and applications are reliable, efficient, and easy to maintain. You’ll collaborate closely with the rest of the team, contributing to various layers of our infrastructure. A strong commitment to teamwork, problem-solving, clean design, and delivering high-quality products is essential.

WHAT IS THE CHALLENGE WAITING FOR YOU?

• Developing new user-facing features

• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code

• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• Proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)

• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript

• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs

• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token

• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools

• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.

• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

• A knack for benchmarking and optimization

• Proficiency with Linux/Unix-based systems

• Proficiency with Agile development methodologies

• Experience working with multi-dc deployments

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency with Git (Bitbucket, GitHub, Gitlab) is an advantage

• Proficient in English language

QUALIFICATIONS

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Computer Science, a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a related role

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Competitive gross annual salary ranging from €35,000 to €45,000, commensurate with knowledge and experience.
• For junior positions, the range is €20,000 to €34,000, based on knowledge and experience.
