This position reports to

Senior Project Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Leading technical projects for new products or product changes/adaptations.

The function is responsible for the transferred tooling projects, responsible for creating concepts, specifications, processes (technical), budget (economic) and launch/start date (time).

The position serves as an interface between all specialist departments, which ensure the implementation and series production capability of the projects.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

This role is contributing to the ABB (PMA) cable protection, Installation Products (ELIP), ABB Electrification Products Division in Uster.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Management of projects from kick-off to process acceptance, implementation, handover of completed projects to the project client.
  • Management of the corresponding project team(s)
  • Ensuring project/process flows, compliance with project management specifications
  • Responsible for planning (project schedule), creation/compliance with project specifications (product requirements, project application,budget, goals, risk

analysis), management of projects (reporting)

This position reports to Head of Project Management

Qualifications for the role

  • You are absorbed, highly skilled in the plastic industry market.
  • Degree in plastics technology or tool management or plastics engineer
  • Have advanced skills, 5 years of experience in the plastic industry market.
  • Have knowledge in the field of injection molding and/or extrusion.
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of MS-office software.
  • You are a communicative, helpful personality with assertiveness.
  • You are at ease communicating in German and English.
