Software Engineer

An international tech company specializing in the development of advanced security solutions for Linux web servers is looking for a Software Developer to join its team!

The company’s flagship product protects over 40 million websites worldwide and is trusted by industry giants like Dell, GoDaddy, IBM, Zoom, and others. Founded in 2009 in San Jose, California, the company now brings together over 250 professionals from across Europe and the USA.

You’ll be working on an innovative AI-powered cybersecurity platform that includes intelligent firewalls, intrusion detection systems, malware protection, and kernel live patching technologies — all built to keep Linux servers secure and resilient.

This is a fully remote position with a flexible schedule, giving you the freedom to plan your day and work from anywhere in the world.

Your future tasks:

• Analyze known security vulnerabilities in open-source PHP and JavaScript projects (e.g., WordPress, Node.js, Angular, Drupal)
• Understand how vulnerabilities work and how they were fixed in newer versions
• Identify whether older, unsupported versions are affected
• Backport official patches to legacy versions when needed
• Help expand coverage of supported PHP and JavaScript applications and plugins
• Contribute to internal tooling to streamline and automate workflows

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant experience as a Software Developer
• Solid knowledge of PHP or JavaScript
• Experience with Node.js
• Good knowledge of Linux
• Familiarity with Docker and Docker Compose
• English B2+

Will be an advantage:

• Prior experience in security
• Understanding and knowledge of the security vulnerabilities life cycle
