UX/UI Designer

(Temporary Position for 1 Year and 2 months, Parental Leave Cover) – Digital Solutions

We are now seeking a highly motivated user interface designer with additionally user experience skills to our Experience & Design team in Digital Solutions. This is a temporary position covering parental leave for one year, with the possibility of extension or permanent employment at the end of the assignment.

Key Responsibilities

As a UX/UI Designer at Munters, your main role will be to craft intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that enhance user experience and engagement across our digital products and services. Your day-to-day tasks will involve a blend of creative and technical activities, including the development of design concepts, supporting in implementation, creating design systems and principles, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive user experience.

  • Develop intuitive and aesthetically pleasing interfaces for a diverse range of digital products and services, ensuring that each design meets both user needs and business goals.
  • Collaborate closely with our UX designers and developers, playing a key role in the user-centered design process from concept to implementation.
  • Maintain the design system and add new, improved components and guidelines that are consistent to the established look and feel, ensuring uniformity across different platforms and devices while accommodating platform-specific nuances.
  • Utilize your skills in visual design to enhance user interfaces through the effective use of typography, iconography, color, and layout.
  • Contribute to the development of our growing Design department as a function, governance, methods, processes, guidelines, etc.


Bring your skills and specific experience into the Design team to improve our design way of working and best practices. Guide and coach other external team members to uplift their design thinking capabilities. Your contributions will be crucial in making our digital solutions accessible, engaging, and effective for our users, ensuring that each interaction is both enjoyable and intuitive.

Required Skills And Qualifications

To thrive as a UX/UI Designer within our team, you'll need a solid foundation in both the creative and technical aspects of digital design. Your portfolio should demonstrate your design process as well as interface design, showcasing a variety of projects that highlight your ability to create engaging and user-friendly designs.

  • Comprehensive portfolio showcasing advanced skills in user experience and interface design, demonstrating your ability to create visually appealing and user-centric designs.
  • Solid customer and user focus. You show a keen interest in user-centered experience design.
  • Proficiency in design tools, preferably Figma, or similar, enabling you to bring your creative ideas to life efficiently and effectively.
  • Experience with responsive web design and mobile app design, understanding the nuances and challenges of designing for various devices and screen sizes.
  • Experience working with design systems, contributing to growth in the design system.
  • A good understanding of front-end development techniques and principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is advantageous, helping you to collaborate more effectively with developers and to ensure designs are feasible and implementable.
  • Innovative problem solver and collaborative partner.
  • Previous experience working in a global B2B context at a company that is on an early transformation journey within either digital or customer experience would be a plus.
  • Experience with IOT products and applications that support the use of hardware would be beneficial.
