About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Java Developer to join our growing engineering team in Wroclaw, Poland. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Java and Microservices architecture, as well as experience working with modern front-end technologies like React and TypeScript. This role involves end-to-end software development, from system design to implementation and maintenance, using modern DevOps practices and tools for observability and containerization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices.
• Build robust and scalable APIs and backend systems following best practices.
• Implement and advocate for Test-Driven Development (TDD) throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate React + TypeScript UI components with back-end services.
• Deploy and manage applications in containerized environments using Docker and orchestrators like Kubernetes.
• Utilize observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar) to ensure performance and reliability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Java, particularly in building backend services.
• Experience with Microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, etc.).
• Working knowledge of Docker, and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack, Datadog).
• Proficient in React and TypeScript for modern front-end development.
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional team.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with API Gateways, service mesh, or serverless technologies.
• Exposure to Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and event-driven architecture.
