The Opportunity


Join House of Jewellery as we revolutionize the jewellery wholesale market through cutting-edge drop-shipping and white-label solutions. Our strategic expansion on the Magento platform is designed to streamline product distribution, reduce inventory overhead, and enhance brand partnerships through seamless integration with third party suppliers and marketplace channels like Amazon, Walmart, and Etsy. Our white-label program will allow retailers to showcase exclusive jewellery collections under their own brand, supported by real-time inventory synchronization, automated order processing, and customized storefront experiences.


We’re seeking an Ecommerce and Systems Integration Specialist to lead the development, optimization, and integration of our digital infrastructure. If you’re passionate about building high-impact e-commerce systems and want to be part of a transformative project, we want to hear from you.


Role Responsibilities


  • Oversee development and optimization of all digital platforms, with a focus on Magento (and a basic understanding of Shopify).
  • Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based servers, including cron jobs, server-side scripting, and general environment setup.
  • Manage Cloudflare configurations (DNS, WAF, performance tuning).
  • Ensure server uptime and performance by resolving 404, 500, 503 errors and optimizing database/server load under traffic spikes.
  • Lead drop-shipping system development with third-party marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, Etsy) and individual merchants (e.g., Shopify).
  • Architect scalable white-label product configurations in Magento to support multiple brand-specific product lines.
  • Create and maintain white-label onboarding templates to simplify partner deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and enhance Magento drop-shipping/white-label features for performance and scalability.
  • Manage PHP-based applications (including Laravel and legacy custom frameworks)
  • Design and maintain relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) with efficient indexing, query optimization, and backups.
  • Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to ensure secure and scalable performance.
  • Handle full-stack API integrations with marketplaces, ERP systems, CRMs, and internal dashboards.
  • Implement and maintain WAF security, risk mitigation strategies, and proactive threat monitoring.
  • Collaborate across internal teams and with external vendors to deploy new tools and improve automation.
  • Define and enforce coding standards, deployment pipelines, and testing protocols using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.


Ideal Contractor Profile


  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with strong PHP/Magento background
  • Proven experience managing e-commerce infrastructure and complex systems integrations
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Linux environments
  • Solid understanding of security protocols, database optimization, and API architecture
  • Experience integrating with platforms like Amazon, Walmart, Etsy, Shopify
  • Independent, self-motivated, and able to deliver results in a fast-paced, agile environment
