ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly driven and strategic PROJECT MANAGER to lead fast-paced projects in a demanding and high-stakes environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, autonomous, and thrives under pressure, capable of balancing execution speed with strategic decision-making.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, ensuring successful execution and delivery.
• Drive Agile methodologies, taking full ownership of sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and scrum processes to maintain project momentum.
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration, proactively addressing dependencies and potential roadblocks to ensure seamless coordination.
• Act as a strategic advisor to clients, balancing their expectations while knowing when to push back and when to align with their needs.
• Apply structured problem-solving to keep projects on track, adapting to shifting priorities and ensuring timely deliverables.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, establishing credibility and authority in high-expectation environments.
• Maintain strong organizational and multitasking abilities, effectively managing competing priorities in a high-performance setting.
• Define project scope, objectives, and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivering results on time and within budget.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, proactively resolving conflicts and adapting plans to keep projects moving forward.
• Serve as the central point of communication between teams and stakeholders, ensuring clarity, alignment, and efficiency.
• Oversee resource allocation, manage team workloads, and drive efficiency to optimize productivity and project success.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) with hands-on experience driving sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and execution.
• Proficiency in JIRA for project tracking and workflow management.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and establish trust.
• Highly autonomous, proactive, and solution-oriented, capable of making informed decisions independently.
• Comfortable navigating high-pressure environments with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex ideas clearly and assertively.
• Experience leading teams or projects with minimal oversight, demonstrating strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to quickly adapt to complex industries, business models, and technical processes.
• Confident and assertive leadership style, able to establish authority while fostering collaboration.
• Resilient and adaptable, with a results-driven mindset and a strong sense of accountability.
• Passion for continuous learning and professional growth, embracing challenges as opportunities for development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in hedge funds, financial services, or investment environments (strong plus).
• Background in IT or Management Consulting
• Based in NYC, with availability to work under a hybrid model (2 days onsite, 3 days remote).
