Information Security Application Consultant (Oil & Gas (Experience Required))

Job Objective

The Information Security Application Consultant is responsible for developing, operating, and managing robust application security frameworks to enhance the organization's security posture. The role ensures secure design, development, and operation of applications while reducing risk exposure and supporting enterprise-wide cybersecurity goals. This includes providing expert-level guidance on application security governance, risk analysis, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and secure software development practices.

Qualifications And Experience

• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum Total Experience: 10+ years in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) field.
• Minimum Security-Specific Experience:
• 7+ years in enterprise-level application and information security.
• 3+ years in a dedicated application security role involving complex team structures and responsibilities.
• Oil & Gas industry experience is mandatory. Experience with SAP applications and SAP cloud platform security is highly desirable.
