We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer with a strong background in Spring Boot and the broader Java Spring ecosystem to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance backend applications. This is an excellent opportunity to work on exciting enterprise-grade projects, contribute to architectural decisions, and build robust APIs and services that power our products.

Requirements


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot and Java Spring frameworks.
  • Develop scalable RESTful APIs and backend services that integrate seamlessly with frontend and third-party applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and product managers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and reliability of backend systems.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making processes.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends in Java development and bring innovative ideas to improve system architecture and code quality.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, with a strong focus on Spring Boot and related Spring modules (Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and web services using Spring Boot.
  • Proficiency with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
  • Experience with version control tools like Git and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) methodologies.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive mindset.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.


Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana)
