Junior Python Developer (Ref: 7573)

Referment have partnered with a boutique systematic trading firm who have an exciting new opening in their front office development team for a bright and talented Python Developer. You will get the opportunity to work on a wide range of in-house and third-party systems which support the trading business covering backend, server side development as well as web development projects too.

The successful candidate should have at least 3 years of Python experience and ideally an appreciation of DevOps tools and micro-services architecture. Experience with TDD and web languages such as React would be highly desirable.

This is a chance to work in a small and high performing business whereby you will get extensive exposure to the traders, quants and other technology teams. The successful candidate will be working on the latest technologies across multiple interesting projects and you will be rewarded exceptionally well both in terms of compensation and career progression!

Key Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience developing in Python
• Strong academic qualifications in Computer Science or similar field (STEM degree preferred)
• Have a genuine interest in financial markets (industry experience is not however required)
• Understanding of micro-services, DevOps tools, TDD and cloud (all advantageous)
