Back End Developer

About the Role

You’ll be working on a high-impact product used nationwide, collaborating with designers and developers to build and enhance a healthcare directory platform that helps people find the right care, faster. You'll have the opportunity to influence product direction, write clean and scalable code, and help mentor junior engineers—all within a supportive and collaborative team culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Code: Write, test, and maintain clean, scalable backend services (Python/Django preferred).
• Collaborate: Work closely with designers, fellow developers, and product teams.
• Innovate: Contribute ideas to improve the product and internal processes.
• Mentor: Support and guide new or junior team members.
• Deliver: Take ownership of projects from planning through to deployment.
• Stay Current: Keep up with tech trends and compliance standards.

About You

You bring more than just code—you bring curiosity, drive, and a collaborative spirit. We're looking for someone with:

• 5+ years of backend development experience in a professional setting (ideally with Python/Django).
• Proficiency in version control (Git/GitHub).
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices and deployment tools.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• A growth-oriented, team-first mindset.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with frontend JavaScript frameworks (especially React.js).
• Strong understanding of HTML5 and modern web markup.
