Senior Front End Developer - React / TypeScript

Are you a highly skilled Front End Developer with strong React and TypeScript experience? Join a large-scale, high-performing development team delivering digital products that have real impact.

We're looking for a Senior Front End Developer to help build intuitive, accessible, and scalable web interfaces using modern technologies and frameworks.

• Initial 6-month contract with potential extensions
• Hybrid work model - combination of WFH and on-site in Brisbane
• Work in a collaborative agile team environment
• Contribution to meaningful, high-impact public-facing platforms
  
  

• Design and build reusable components and front-end libraries using React
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX, UI, back-end developers and QA
• Apply accessibility and responsive design principles to deliver high-quality user experiences
• Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews
• Optimise application performance and ensure UI reliability
  
  

• Proven experience in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SASS
• Solid knowledge of modern frontend tools such as Webpack, Jest, Playwright, and Storybook
• Strong understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and responsive design
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git
• Experience working in agile and multi-disciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
