A prestigious global consultancy located in Brussels seeking a Devops Engineer - Cloud Factory for a significant engagement with a major Banking client.

DevOps Migration & Platform Management Responsibilities:

Platform Migration:

• BitBucket/Bamboo/Nexus → GitLab/GitLab CI/Artifactory/Sonar
• Configure GitLab groups/projects and migrate repositories from Bitbucket
• Adapt code/configurations during migration process
• Establish CI/CD pipelines in GitLab
• Create technical accounts/tokens for Artifactory access
• Set up and configure Sonar projects for code quality analysis
• Process change requests and access entitlements

Legacy System Decommissioning

• Remove obsolete Bitbucket repositories, Nexus/Artifactory artifacts, Bamboo plans
• Clean up on-premises Sonar projects
• Monitor and verify complete tool decommissioning

Ongoing Platform Administration

• Access Management
• Process tool access requests and handle user onboarding
• Configure technical roles and entitlements
• Manage firewall rule change requests

• Infrastructure Configuration
• Set up and maintain GitLab runners
• Configure Artifactory repositories (local and remote/mirrors)
• Create and manage GitLab and Sonar projects
• Integrate Sonar code quality scanning with existing projects

• Security & Updates
• Monitor and communicate JFrog Xray security vulnerabilities
• Deploy and verify development tool updates (JDK, Node.js, Python, R, IDEs)
• Automate routine management tasks, especially token management

• User Support
• Provide technical troubleshooting and solution design
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation
• Deliver user training and onboarding assistance

Requirements

• A good general understanding of IT infrastructure and platform administration
• Advanced knowledge of development concepts (SCM, Git, code quality, DevSecOps, etc.)
• Proficiency in one or more scripting/programming languages (e.g., Bash, Python)
