✅ Your mission: As a People Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for a wide variety of HR activities across Nordics and UK with nearly 200 employees in these countries, most of them based in Finland, you will play a crucial role in optimizing processes and enhancing the employee experience.

✅ Work setup: Hybrid (Espoo or Tampere area preferred), with flexible remote work and regular face-to-face meetings in Espoo and/or in Tampere.

✅ Career growth: Work closely with the HR Manager and external vendors, supporting employees throughout their lifecycle and ensuring payroll data accuracy.

✅ Leadership & team: Collaborate with a supportive HR team and external vendors to maintain and optimize company benefits, absence tracking, holiday and time management, business travel, and insurance policies.

✅ Salary: 3500-4500 €/month depending on your skills and experience + up to 10% annual bonus (if company-wide goals are met).

Role details


As a People Operations Specialist, you will:


  • Work as an owner of HR tools.
  • Utilize existing tools and support the execution of HR system updates, integrations, and related projects aimed at enhancing employee data management and operational efficiency.
  • Support employees throughout the employee lifecycle, offering guidance to managers on organizational changes, work details, collective agreements, and labor laws.
  • Maintain and optimize company benefits, absence tracking, holiday and time management, business travel, and insurance policies.
  • Ensure compliance with collective agreements, labor laws, and internal policies in coordination with the HR team.


Who you’ll work with


  • Your core team: two HR Managers, Chief People Officer and external vendors.
  • Employees: Offering support and advice to employees across Europe focusing primarily on Nordic countries.
  • Managers: Offering support regarding organizational changes, work details, and compliance with labor laws.


What success looks like in this role


In the first 6 months, you’re expected to:


  • Successfully onboard into your role with support from the HR team.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant HR data management.
  • Support employees and managers with HR-related queries and tasks.
  • Optimize HR processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Take the ownership of our HR tools and projects.


Longer term, you’ll be measured by:


  • Your contribution to a positive employee experience.
  • The accuracy and compliance of HR data.
  • Improvements in HR process efficiency.
