DevOps Engineer

Job Title: AWS DevOps Engineer

Location: Remote (Germany)

Contract: 12 Months | Start: ASAP

We are seeking a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer for a 12-month freelance role supporting a major cloud migration project in Germany. You will play a key role in automating infrastructure, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and supporting seamless migration to AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines
• Manage infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform/CloudFormation)
• Support application deployment and environment provisioning
• Implement monitoring, logging, and security best practices
• Collaborate with architects and developers on migration tasks

Requirements:

• 4+ years of DevOps experience, with strong AWS expertise
• Proficient in services like EC2, ECS/EKS, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, CodePipeline
• Strong skills in Terraform, Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitLab CI)
• Experience in Linux administration and scripting (Bash/Python)
• Fluent in English; German is a plus

Preferred:

• AWS DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect certification
• Experience with large-scale AWS migrations
