Junior Cyber Security Analyst

Connexus are currently supporting a Public Sector body in their search for a Junior Information Security Analyst.

This is a hybrid role based in Dublin City Centre and will report to the organisation’s Chief Information Security Officer.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing cyber threat awareness across the organisation.
• Conduct phishing simulation campaigns and evaluate results to improve security procedures.
• Document security vulnerabilities across web, mobile and cloud-based systems.
• Stay up to date with emerging security threats.
• Assist in the delivery of security awareness training for employees
• Collaborate with other departments to implement security best practices for system hardening and network protection.
• Comply with all relevant Data Protection legislation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security, Information Systems or a related field.
• Understanding of cyber security concepts, vulnerabilities and risk management.
• Knowledge of networking and system security best practices.
