Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job Description

We are excited to welcome a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Luxembourg. This full-time role offers an Undetermined Duration Contract and is perfect for someone with extensive experience in software development and a passion for creating innovative solutions.

🔥 Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using JavaScript and React JS.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and co-implement software solutions that meet both functional and technical needs.
• Implement test automation strategies to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to enhance code quality and team performance.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the overall architecture and design of software solutions, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
  
  
  

🎯 Your Profile:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. In the absence of a Master’s degree, demonstrated equivalent professional experience of at least 7 years will be accepted.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Javascript and React JS programming.
• Proven experience in working closely with business units to co-implement software solutions that satisfy both functional and technical requirements.
• Preferably 2 years of experience in the finance sector.
• Proficiency in English and French, in both written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
