Our team counts former Facebook AI Research engineers who anticipated the way AI could transform healthcare delivery. Our Machine-Learning team is continually leveraging the latest advancements in the field to unlock the full potential of AI in healthcare.

Not only that, Yann LeCun, Meta’s Chief AI Scientist and AI Godfather, is an advisor to Nabla.

What You'll Do

As an experienced machine learning engineer, you will leverage the latest advances in machine learning to build the "Copilot" of healthcare. You will be deeply involved in the ML roadmap, from definition to delivery. Within a team of experts who built large-scale production systems at Facebook, Google or Microsoft, you will:

• propose experiments, model architectures & data labeling strategies to improve our speech to text, note generation and normalization systems.
• implement them and train models
• roll them out on our platform by working closely with product teams
• measure their performance in the real world to improve them over time

Our stack

• Python for everything ML related
• Pytorch and Transformers for training
• vllm for inference
• Google Cloud & Kubernetes for deployment
• Calls to OpenAI GPT-4 when needed

Where you'll be based

Our offices are based in Paris 3e (Arts & Métiers).

Remote policy: 1-2 days a week (with some flexibility). Possibility of working remotely 1-2 weeks once a year.

Your DNA

• You have strong foundations in machine learning with minimum 6 years of experience
• You’ve trained neural networks for real-world use cases
• You write clean Python code
• You communicate clearly in English
• Broader software engineering experience (infrastructure, front-end, etc) is a plus

Your Team

The Engineering team is composed of 15 people currently, with 3 teams:

• “Front”: in charge of our web application and Chrome extension.
• “Back”: in charge of Infra, Back-End and our API solution
• “Core”: Machine Learning specialists

You will be part of the "Core" team and collaborate closely with the Product Management team.

2. Technical Interview (Google Meet) with one of our Software Engineers
3. On-Site Interview (Coding Tests, ML case study, Technical Discussion)
4. Reference Check
5. Final interview with one of our co-founders
