Embedded Software Engineer

Your Key Responsibilities

• Define both static and dynamic aspects of software architecture to create a solid and efficient framework,
• Analyze the architecture to identify optimization opportunities and enhance system performance,
• Specify both static and dynamic aspects of the detailed software design,
• Planning and cost estimation of the software development activities,
• Develop and verify software units (e.g. code reviews, unit test),
• Participation in stand-ups / project meetings with an international team.
  
  

Your Qualifications

Required

• Graduate Degree in Software Engineering, Electronics, Natural Science or Computer Science,
• +5 years of experience in embedded software development,
• Strong understanding of embedded software development and architecture principles focused on microcontroller-based software development,
• Experience in specifying and analyzing software architecture,
• Proficiency in programming languages C and C++,
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation,
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory to effectively communicate and collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  
  

Preferred

• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS),
• Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum,
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results,
• Experience with the development in the context of functional safety and under consideration of cyber security aspects,
• Experienced in developing condition monitoring systems, sensor applications or motor controls is preferred,
• Possession of an iSAQB certification in software architecture, or other comparable qualifications, is a valued asset,
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban development methodologies.
