Leiden - Front End Software Engineer - Software Development
We are seeking a talented Front-End Software Engineer to develop and enhance the user interface for the modern web-based solutions, including the cloud-based 3D asset management and distribution platform. This is an exciting time as they transition from the agile momentum of a successful scale-up to the broader horizons of an expanding enterprise.
In this role, you will work on cutting-edge technologies to enhance product offerings and ensure seamless user experiences. You will play a pivotal role in developing and refining the user-facing aspects of the software systems, ensuring intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing interfaces that contribute to overall scalability, reliability, and seamless user experiences. You will engage in all stages of front-end software development, from conceptualization and design collaboration to implementation, testing, and deployment.
Main responsibilities:
- Implement and enhance the user interface using React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers to integrate GraphQL APIs for authentication, configuration, licensing, and interaction with cloud services.
- Work with product teams and designers to translate concepts and requirements into robust and user-friendly front-end solutions.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Contribute to best practices for automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery, specifically as they relate to front-end development.
- Stay abreast of emerging web and cloud technologies, particularly new front-end frameworks, libraries, and techniques, to integrate relevant advancements into their systems.
What you bring to the table:
- Proven experience as a Front-End Software Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in frontend development skills in React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Solid understanding of building and consuming GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with modern cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) from a front-end integration perspective.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (e.g., Docker) as they pertain to front-end workflows.
- Ability to work in-person from the HQ in Sassenheim on hybrid basis.
What's offered:
A salary depending on experience until 85k/annum, 30 vacation days per year, free lunch, free office gym and a full-time contract.
