Senior Product Manager for DataCom

As a Senior Product Manager at GlobalConnect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product portfolio from ideation to launch. You will be the driving force behind product development, ensuring our products meet customer needs and stay ahead in the market. Your day will be filled with exciting challenges, from working with engineering teams on product specifications to collaborating with Commercial Management and Marketing on go-to-market strategies. On other days you will work closely with Sales and our Delivery colleagues to ensure that what we sell to our customers and deliver is also within our product portfolio. Ultimately, you are the manager of the product, hence it is your responsibility to ensure that your colleagues and organization are prepared in the best way possible.

Joining our Pan-Nordic team means working with talented colleagues across Norway, Denmark, Sweden and other countries. You'll be part of a Nordic team of Product Managers all with different backgrounds and experiences, sharing the same excitement about delivering a best-in-class Product solution to our customers. GlobalConnect is a vibrant and collaborative organization where innovation and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do.

Your area of responsibility will be our DataCom portfolio in Norway, containing MPLS VPN and Internet to the B2B market.

Here are some examples of key responsibilities during a typical day:

• Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps in collaboration with stakeholders from sales, delivery, strategy, marketing etc.
• Work with colleagues in Engineering to create technical specifications
• Implementation and introduction of new products
• Analyze the product portfolio and manage the lifecycle of legacy products.
• Track product performance and analyze cost structures to assess where to improve and focus on developing the Product.
• Managed your product catalogue and contribute in product modelling
• Participate in market research, customer insights and competitive analysis to support product decisions

Who We Are Looking For 

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who can balance strategic thinking with tactical execution. You should be a strong communicator, a team player, and have a proven track record in product management. Your ability to understand customer needs and translate them into actionable plans will be key to your success.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:   

• Experience: At least 5-10 years in product management or a similar role, preferably within Telco or the IT industry.
• Education: Minimum bachelor's degree in business, science or engineering
• Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills; technical knowledge of Telco and IT products.
• Languages: Fluent in English and Norwegian/Swedish/Danish.
  
  

This role is based in Norway, with occasional travel required.
