Hybrid Interaction Designer / Visual Designer

12 months+, fulltime hours per week

$55-60 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Hybrid Interaction Designer / Visual Designer to join our dynamic team. This role combines the responsibilities of designing user interfaces and creating visual designs that enhance user experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of interaction design principles and a passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing digital products.

This will be 2x per week onsite downtown.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and developers to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design ideas and user flow.
• Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs to improve user experience.
• Develop and maintain design systems and patterns that ensure consistency across digital products.
• Utilize tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Sketch to create visually compelling designs and prototypes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies, applying best practices in UI and visual design.
• Work closely with developers to ensure the feasibility and adherence to design specifications during the implementation phase.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an interaction designer, visual designer, or similar role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and a clear understanding of design process.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Sketch.
• Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools, with a focus on usability testing and user research.
• Familiarity with interaction design principles and best practices for user interface design.
