Full Stack Engineer

Our client is a young Berlin-based company with a mission to revolutionize the future of speech therapy. They currently have over 90 speech therapists in 13 practices and are continuously growing.

Position description

To support their growth, they are building a product and tech team at their Berlin headquarters. This team will develop innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation in the healthcare sector and support their practices across Germany with proprietary software. Our client is looking for an experienced Fullstack Engineer to join their tech team, develop their practice management system, and optimize the patient journey in speech therapy.

As a versatile Fullstack Engineer, you will apply your expertise in frontend and backend development to realize various web and software projects. You will work on developing and implementing technical solutions for our client’s group of practices and play a key role in building and maintaining their software architecture.

Your responsibilities:

• Make architectural decisions in the team based on product requirements and implement software solutions with an overview of both backend and frontend.
• Develop and maintain frontend and backend solutions using React, React-Admin, TypeScript, and NestJS.
• Build internal database structures with PostgreSQL.
• Integrate internal and external APIs and ensure smooth communication with various systems.
• Ensure technical quality through testing.
• Focus on optimizing applications for maximum security, stability, and speed.

What you bring:

• A degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
• At least 4 years of professional experience as a Fullstack Engineer.
• Solid knowledge of software architecture and database structures.
• Extensive experience in development with React, React-Admin, TypeScript, Node or NestJS, and modern frontend technologies.
• Bonus: Experience with Kysely Query Builder or similar SQL tools.
• Fluent German language skills, both spoken and written.
• Independent working style and strong problem-solving skills.
• Bonus points for experience in the HealthTech sector with its strict data protection regulations in Germany.
