Contract Details

• Duration: 12 months
• Location: Brisbane
• Work Arrangements: 2 days WFH per week

Company Overview

BLACKROC is partnering with a highly regarded government organisation to source a Front End Engineer with strong experience in React.js and .NET. This is a 12-month contract based in Brisbane, offering a hybrid work setup and the chance to influence high-impact software projects.

Role Overview

You’ll be developing and integrating Microsoft-based technologies in an Azure environment, leading front end efforts and contributing to robust DevOps workflows. If you’re passionate about UI development with modern frameworks and have strong back-end awareness, this role is a fantastic fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Build user-focused front end interfaces with React.js
• Manage Azure DevOps pipelines and repositories
• Collaborate across teams to design scalable software
• Translate system requirements into technical specifications
• Maintain documentation and support continuous delivery

Required Skills

• 5+ years' experience with React.js and .NET
• Proficient with Azure DevOps, pipelines, CI/CD
• Experience with ASP.NET, HTML, CSS (desirable)
• Understanding of modern design patterns and architecture

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Government/Justice sector
• Experience in multi-domain environments
