The Role

Due to ongoing platform enhancements, the Digital Platforms team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced React JavaScript Developer. You'll play a key role in supporting and evolving the University's staff and student portals, ensuring accessibility, reliability, and modern user experience design. This role reports to the Manager, Digital Platforms, and supports a high-performing Agile delivery team.

Typical Day:

• Develop and enhance web portal frontends using React
• Collaborate with the UX and backend teams to deliver seamless integrations via REST APIs
• Use design systems like Storybook and ZeroHeight to ensure UI consistency
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives
• Ensure technical documentation and Jira tickets are up to date
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues as part of BAU and project activities
