Java Developer

We are working with a Zurich-based business as they search for a German-speaking Java Developer to join its dynamic tech team and lead the implementation of new inventory management features.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of scalable and high-performance software solutions.

Key responsibilities of the Java Developer:

• Lead the implementation of new inventory management features across front- and back-end systems
• Drive the digital integration of client systems
• Implement robust EDI connections to the ERP platform
• Develop and deploy REST and OCI APIs for seamless customer data access
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, providing support and driving resolution of complex issues

The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Circa 3+ years’ experience with Java, JavaEE, and Spring Batch
• Solid SQL knowledge; experience with Oracle and PL/SQL is a bonus
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• A communicative, analytical, and self-driven mindset, focused on practical solutions
• Fluency in English and German
