What You’ll Do
- Help with the development and maintenance of backend systems using Node.js to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices to support front-end applications
- Design and optimize data storage solutions for efficient and scalable performance
- Maintain and improve code quality, organization, and automatization
- Implement best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation
- 5+ years of experience with Node.js
- Experience working with AWS
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Experience working with NoSQL and relational databases
- Experience working with WebSockets
- Willingness to stay up to date with new technologies and libraries
- Strong focus on well-tested, clean code
- Experience with Cursor
- Experience with Windsurf
- Experience with AWS Bedrock
- Other backend languages or frameworks like PHP, Ruby, etc. | Nice to have
- Working with CI and CD pipelines | Nice to have
- Experience with ExpressJS and other popular Node.js libraries and frameworks | Nice to have
- Experience with JS frameworks such as react, vue, etc | Nice to have
