Cyber Risk Officer (NL/ENG)

What does this job entail?

Ready to shine as a Cyber Risk Officer at with KBC Group? It means ensuring optimal risk management. In a stimulating environment, you support a diverse international team of experts in information security, cyber risks and IT risks.

Our team helps and challenges all entities of the KBC Group and provides assurance to the top management that the associated information and cyber risks are well secured and under control.

Our focus is primarily on Information Security, Cyber and IT-risks, but also on related areas as Group-wide incident and crisis management, business continuity, third party management and cloud technology. You work in an inspiring atmosphere where your talents are put to full use.

What do we expect from you?

• Monitoring the cyber world day by day.
• Plan & perform independent investigations to give reasonable assurance that the risks are under control.
• Act as a human 'risk' radar, facilitator & independent observer.
• Define controls & practices to handle risk on a day-to-day basis.
• Define metrics to measure the maturity of controls
• Help to prepare reports for the key stakeholders (Group ExCo, Group CRO, Group IT Risk Community, …) via a structural information feed.
  
  

Your key strengths?

• You’re an expert in the areas of data and cyber security.
• Any certifications – such as CISSP, CISM and CISA – are an asset.
• You are eager to learn and KBC encourages and actively supports on-the-job training to expand expertise and to enhance job-related skills
• You communicate fluently in English.
• This vacancy is open to applicants with a university degree or a bachelordegree and relevant experience in IT.
