ECOMMERCE FRONTEND LEAD for our Digital team at Musti Group

Musti Group is in an interesting phase of renewing our whole digital ecosystem to better support further expansion. At our eCommerce domain we are transforming both the platform and the team to be more growth-oriented and to work better towards our business objectives.

As our eCommerce Frontend lead, you are responsible for the frontend delivery of our eCommerce team. You will spend your time on both programming work as well as working on clarifications and implementation planning together with our scrum master and UX designer.

On the technical side, you possess broad general knowledge and actively follow the latest trends within eCommerce and front-end development. You are ready to act as a technical mentor other developers in the team and act as a technical knowledge sharing partner for UX design, front-end and back-end development, and product owner.

What you will do

• Responsible for the architecture, quality & implementation of the frontend solution
• In collaboration with scrum master and UX-designer, ensure consistency between wireframes/design and feature description and assess the feasibility of these
• In collaboration with product owner and scrum master, balance the requirements, deadlines, resources and possible technical solutions
• Ensure branching, merging and deployment strategy suits the specific situation
• Ensure appropriate technical and business documentation of the solution
• Support the team in keeping estimates by ensuring necessary knowledge sharing, clarification and possibly descoping

Who you are

• Seasoned front-end developer with multiple years of experience in working with React (SSR) and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with UI Libraries (ChakraUI used in the project)
• Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques (code splitting, lazy loading, bundle optimization)
• SEO best practices for SPAs and server-rendered applications
• Proficiency in responsive design, cross-browser compatibility and implementing accessibility standards
• Experience with REST APIs
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of performance monitoring tools
• Excellent communication skills in English

What we consider as a plus

• Experience in working with retail brands and multinational companies
• Experience with micro-service architecture
• Knowledge of A/B testing implementation
• Previous experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud
• Experience in using and creating models in CMS like Contentful, Sanity or similar.
• Swedish or Finnish skills
