As a Platform Engineer (m/f/d) in our agile team, you will be instrumental in building and enhancing our state-of-the-art SaaS platform. You will enable a seamless GitOps workflow from build to deployment for our development teams, driving efficiency and accelerating delivery cycles.

Your tasks

  • Design, build, and continuously improve our cloud platform.
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams to design system architectures and select appropriate technologies.
  • Ensure fast and smooth delivery of our services by working on continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
  • Develop and automate our self-service platform for development teams.
  • Monitor our cloud systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Leverage your expertise in container and cloud technologies to optimally tailor SaaS products for our customers.

Your Experiences

  • Proven experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform and Google Kubernetes Engine
  • Familiarity with network traffic distribution patterns, including the use of (HTTP) load balancers and API Gateways (such as Tyk API Gateway)
  • Proficiency in version control using Git, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD practices (we use GitHub, GitHub Actions and Terraform)
  • A basic understanding of TCP/IP based networking and upper-level protocols such as HTTP, DNS, and IPSec
  • Experience with orchestration technology for microservice landscapes, such as Kubernetes, HashiCorp Nomad, OpenStack, or Docker Swarm
