PHP Team Lead (Full Stack, Laravel, Vue.js)

PLC Group is an international company currently looking for a skilled and responsible PHP Team Lead to join our team and take ownership of the development and growth of our large-scale digital platforms:

• 🌍 plc.auction – a global vehicle auction system
• 🚗 checkcar.vin – an advanced digital vehicle history reporting platform

You’ll lead a cross-functional team, oversee architectural decisions, and ensure high performance, quality, and scalability of the platform.

• Lead the development team, assign tasks, and ensure timely delivery.
• Design and maintain system architecture and core technical solutions.
• Supervise code quality and conduct regular code reviews.
• Mentor and support team members in professional growth.
• Coordinate with the project manager and other stakeholders.
• Solve complex technical challenges and drive process optimization.
• Contribute to strategic decisions and suggest technical innovations.
• Maintain and update technical documentation.

• 5+ years of experience in PHP full stack development, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Deep expertise in Laravel 8/9+, PHP, ORM, OOP, and OOD.
• Strong experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL (indexes, optimization, architecture).
• Solid front-end experience with Vue.js, Next.js, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (jQuery, Ajax).
• Hands-on experience with API design and integration (e.g., payments, delivery services).
• Proficient in Git and familiar with PSR standards.
• Experience in testing: PHPUnit, refactoring best practices.
• Knowledge of caching systems: Redis, Memcached.
• Ability to write clean, structured, and maintainable code.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Proficient in English and Russian (technical documentation & team collaboration).
